EEROS is the Easy, Elegant, Reliable, Open and Safe Real-Time Robotics Software Framework. It offers a unique architecture, making it universally viable for robots in education and industry. EEROS can closely interact with ROS (Robot Operating System). The latter offers a wide variety of services. In contrast, EEROS allows to implement a precise and realtime capable framework controlling a robot. It provides a lightweight layer of software abstraction, allowing code to be reused on multiple platforms and reducing development costs.

Education

Get EEROS

EEROS is fully open source, licensed under the Apache License Version 2.0. Currently, EEROS must be built from source, which is freely available on GitHub. Only Debian- and Gentoo-based Linux distributions are supported.
